Our Staff
Pam
Pam Wiley is one of our lovely Customer Service Representatives here at Stoneledge Animal Hospital. She is responsible for greeting our clients and their pets when they come in for a visit, answering phones, scheduling, and seeing clients off following their appointments. Pam always offers our clients a welcoming smile and kind word when they bring their pets in for a visit. We are so grateful for Pam’s warmth and kindness and appreciate how much joy she adds to our office!
Pam joined our team in June of 2019 and she brings us her 20+ years of experience working in the veterinary care field. Before working at Stoneledge Animal Hospital, Pam worked for an animal neurologist for 8 years and at a 24-hour animal emergency clinic for 12 years.
Pam has two dogs: a Wheaten Scottish Terrier named Wallace and a Mix Rescue named Freya. She also has two Domestic Shorthairs named Kitten Boy and Smokey, as well as a Domestic Longhair named Gold Kitty. During her free time, Pam enjoys gardening, cooking, painting, doing home improvement projects, and resourcing thrift store finds.
Angie
While she was born in Alabama, this self-described “Army brat” lived in over 8 different states growing up and always had cats, so she definitely considers herself a cat person. Her animal care career has included jobs at the animal shelter, ERS, and PVESC—and she also fostered kittens on the side.
After many years as the owner of a local diner, Angie found herself drawn back into the veterinary world not only for the animals but because of the great caring people in it. She says she loves the opportunity to learn and the fact that this field is never boring—it’s always different every day.
Angie shares her home with her spouse, three kids, three cats, and two dogs. When she’s not working, she enjoys a float in the lake, doing crafts, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and napping!
Tanya
Growing up in Saco, ME, Tanya had a cat named Jasmine and always wanted to be a teacher—until she got older and discovered she enjoyed animals more than kids! She has been a veterinary assistant for more than 13 years and enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially diagnostics—she says she’s continually amazed by the range of conditions animals can contract and the treatments available for them.
Tanya considers herself a dog person and currently has a Boxer named Bentley—but she also holds a special place in her heart for her pit bull Nevada, who passed away recently. When she’s not working, Tanya enjoys hanging out with her husband Nick, and daughter Olivia, as well as playing Candy Crush and watching TV. Want to get on her good side? Offer her ice cream or a cheeseburger!
Kearra
Growing up in Portland and Windham, Kearra’s family had dogs, cats, and birds and she always knew she wanted to be either a veterinarian or a teacher. After attending college as an education major, she took a break and got a job at a doggy daycare and realized her true passion was working with animals and studying animal behavior.
Kearra has years of real-world, on-the-job training and says she loves being able to help families and their pets navigate the various stages of life, from the joy of new puppies and kittens through adulthood and the senior years. While she loves both canines and felines, Kearra does admit to bonding the most with dogs.
She shares her home with three cats and two Siberian huskies and when she’s not working, Kearra enjoys hiking, kayaking, all things creative, and indulging in chocolate.

With a continued eagerness to learn, she most enjoys working with and learning from our doctors and senior veterinary technicians.
“I enjoy working at Stoneledge because of the friendly, family-feeling environment,” she says. “It’s also a bright learning environment, full of opportunities to grow and understand more about the veterinary field.”

Amber
Originally from Massachusetts, Amber moved to Maine when she was in middle school and has spent her whole life surrounded by animals her family took in ranging from cats and dogs to various pocket pets as well as chickens and ducks. She graduated from the University of Maine Orono in 2014 with a bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in Zoology where she focused much of her studies on animal behavior and neuroscience. After graduation she had a short stint as a grooming assistant, then Amber was a canine adoption counselor and kennel worker at the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland where she got a lot of hands-on experience with dog behavior and the shelter side of veterinary medicine. She also discovered she was very passionate about working with shy and fearful dogs as well as caring for special needs animals. Prior to Stoneledge she was a veterinary assistant at Dehler Animal Clinic for four years and is thrilled to be a part of the team here.
In her free time, Amber can be found either cooking or baking, reading, and playing video games with her partner David, surrounded by their three dogs (Faye, Sophie and Gnocchi) and four cats (Frida, Kael’thas, Binx and Ravioli).
Sarah
Practice Manager Sarah volunteered at Stoneledge Animal Hospital throughout high school, and officially joined the staff in 2009 after graduation. Sarah has been a kennel assistant, a veterinary assistant, a veterinary technician, and a customer service representative. She can accomplish basically any job that needs to be done in the hospital with grace. However, Sarah’s favorite part of the job is providing medical and compassionate care to all hospital clients and patients.
Sarah says, “I enjoy working here every day! This is my second family. Our team is very close-knit, and everyone here strives to provide the best medicine and care that they can to each of our patients.”
At home, Sarah has three dogs named Abby, Sky, and Ryder, as well as a cat named Sweet Pea. She was raised on a family farm which currently has Hereford cows and goats. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her son, and family and friends. Sarah loves the outdoors, cooking, and doing various crafts.
Janelle
As an Operations Manager and Head Technician, Janelle is responsible for a myriad of things that help keep Stoneledge an amazing Veterinary Practice. The part she enjoys most is patient care, as Janelle finds it important to make sure our patients are comfortable and feel safe. She loves getting to know our amazing clients and helping to build trust, both with clients to know that their pet is in good hands, and their pets so that they know she’s here to help.
Janelle possesses a degree in Psychology from the University of Maine at Farmington and has been employed in the animal-related field for over 16 years. Some of her former jobs include starting as an assistant in Dartmouth, MA, and working her way to become a technician. She continued to learn and grow as a technician after moving to Franklin, MA, where she passed her veterinary technician licensing test. After that, Janelle relocated to Maine where she worked for 10 more years. She then decided to take a sabbatical from veterinary medicine but came back after missing this incredible line of work.
“I am so thankful to have found a clinic where all the staff truly cares about the patients and their owners,” Janelle says. “Everyone works together to make sure that the patients and their owners are as comfortable and confident with the care their pet is receiving.”
Away from the hospital, Janelle loves to spend her free time with her husband and their two kids. Their family loves to spend their days off at the beach, going hiking, or checking out all the wonderful state parks in this beautiful state. They share their home with a lovable Cocker Spaniel named Pumpkin Ginger Spice Latte Hayman.
